Placing an Order

Orders

Placing an order is easy. Just add items to your cart, go to checkout, fill in your shipping and payment details, and place your order.

Order Status

Once your order request has been received by us, you will receive periodic updates from us regarding the processing of your order. If you choose to enter a phone number instead of an email address you will receive your order updates by SMS to your mobile phone.

Changing or Canceling an Order

You can change your order and information at anytime until you finish the checkout process. If you need to correct something and have already finished placing your order, please contact us at 604-854-5968 or toll free at 1-800-901-0088.

Pinnacle West accepts Visa and MasterCard credit cards for orders. Pinnacle has no access to, or control over, any additional fees billed to the customer by the credit card company, bank, or merchant processor.

PayPal

PayPal allows any business or consumer with an email address to securely and conveniently send payments online. Their network builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards to create real-time payment solution.

Company or Cashiers Check

When paying by company check or cashiers check please call our customer service department at 1-800-901-0088 to place your order.

**Company Checks and Cashiers Checks will be held for a period of 2 weeks for authentication. After this period, the order will then ship. At this time, Pinnacle West does not accept personal checks for order payment.

Wire Transfer

Order Processing

Processing Time

We make every effort to make sure orders are processed as soon as possible, and no unnecessary delays occur in processing an order. In most cases orders are processed immediately for in-stock items. During busy periods, delays may occur. All orders will be processed no later than 2 business days upon receipt, provided the items are in-stock and there are no problems with the payment verification.

When placing your order, please consider the following

  • Business hours at Pinnacle are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time excluding holidays.
  • Orders placed overnight will be processed no earlier than the next business day.
  • Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed no earlier than Monday (excluding holidays).
  • Cut off time for expedited shipping is 10:00am pacific time (provided the items are in-stock). Orders placed after this time will be processed the next business day.

Back Orders & Special Orders

Back Ordered Products

If your order includes an out-of-stock product, we will notify you with an estimated time of delay and you will be given an opportunity to cancel any outstanding back orders with us. For orders that contain items that are out-of-stock, the entire order will be held and shipped complete as soon as our stock has been replenished.

Special Order Products

These items are normally not stocked in our warehouse but can be ordered in. Shipping dates are unknown for these items, but expect 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. If your order includes a special-order-product, we will notify you and you will be given an opportunity to to decide if you would like to wait for the item(s) to be ordered in. For orders that contain a special-order item(s), the entire order will be held and shipped complete as soon as the item(s) arrive at our warehouse. Special-order-products must be paid for in advance.

If you would like the in-stock item(s) shipped right away and the out-of-stock item(s) or special order item(s) shipped later (Additional shipping charges may apply) please let us know by responding to our email notification or by telephone at 604-854-5968 or toll free at 1-800-901-0088. Shipping Rates and Delivery Times

Shipping Rates

Shipping fees are based on the destination, size and weight of your item(s). Actual shipping costs are calculated during checkout. For an estimate before checkout, please add the items you intend to order to your cart, fill out the estimate shipping form and click the ‘Calculate Shipping’ link from the Shopping Cart page. This will provide a list of estimates for the shipping methods available to your selected destination.

Delivery Times

Shipping times are estimates and not guarantees and do not include order processing time. They may be affected by factors over which Pinnacle West has no control, including incorrect delivery addresses, weather delays etc. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for standard ground shipping.


Receiving Your Order

Delivery

Standard delivery only occurs on regular business days and does not include weekends or holidays. Please be available or have a responsible person available to sign and accept your order during business hours. If a delivery cannot be made, the carrier will provide instructions to receive your order (local warehouse, 2nd attempt, etc.).

Shipping Damage

The item(s) are carefully packed for shipment by our shipping department in compliance with carrier requirements. However we realize that shipment damage may occur in spite of these precautions. Please check all shipments when they are delivered for shortages or external signs of damage. If packages in your shipment appear damaged, you should immediately unpack them and inspect the contents. If you find a problem, notify the delivery driver of the item(s) involved before you sign and accept your order. Failure to do so may result in the carrier refusing to honor the claim.


Product Returns

Returning an Item

A 15% re-stocking fee will be applied to all returns. No returns after 30 days. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. The product must be accompanied by the receipt and in original condition (unused). The item(s) must be complete, undamaged and unsoiled, with the original packaging, labels, accessories and documentation intact. No return on special order products or any liquid products (chemicals, cleaners, etc…).

When making a return, please consider the following:

  • Return of any item(s) must be pre-approved by Pinnacle via telephone at 604-854-5968 or toll free at 1-800-901-0088.
  • Customer will be responsible for freight charges incurred to return the item(s). Freight collect shipments will be refused.
  • Please return the product(s) clearly labeled, in the original shipping package. If you have discarded the original shipping package, you may return your order in a clearly labeled package that protects the product.
  • The customer is responsible for any damage or loss of package(s) during return shipment to Pinnacle.
  • Please include the original receipt. If you have discarded the original receipt, contact us via telephone at 604-854-5968 or toll free at 1-800-901-0088 for further guidelines.
  • On the back of the invoice or separate document, please indicate your reason for return.
  • Once we have received and inspected the returned item(s) and your return is accepted, we will process your credit as soon as possible.
